Taking place at ExCel London from 25-29th June, FESPA 2013 is the landmark exhibition and largest focused event for the printing industries. The 650 exhibitors will encompass the latest equipment, technology and consumables for wide-format digital print, narrow format digital print, screen and industrial printing, garment decoration and textile printing.

One of the show’s main features for this year is Creative Corner – an inaugural free conference dedicated to brand owners, creative agencies and designers. The five-day conference will present ideas and case studies of successful campaigns to inspire visitors on how to achieve ROI through the power of print.

Located on the show floor on stand Q100N in the north hall, Creative Corner will cover a variety of functions, such as retail branding, visual merchandising, in-store promotion, POS, retail packaging and displays, out-of-home, multichannel campaigns and commercial interiors.

The line-up features some of the biggest names in advertising and design – including keynote presentations from Coca Cola, McCann NY, TBWA and Unilever. The conference programme will address key topics for the creative community, highlighting the capabilities of print and opening up the relationship between print service providers and end-users.

Day two of the conference will be dedicated to interior design. Visitors can hear first hand from designers about how digital print is revolutionising interior design, and how designers are using print to realise client briefs quickly and on budget with no aesthetic compromises.

Felipe Araujo and Daniel Perez from Catalonian interior design agency, Eque y Seta, will explore how they are using print in the interior realm and the relevance it has within their industry. They will also offer examples of how their clients are using print, as well as a case study of a recent project they worked on called Print Avenue.

Debbie McKeegan, creative director at Digetex Group, will also take to the floor, focusing on soft furnishings and the possibilities of print in the interior design industry.

Duncan MacOwan, Head Of Events And New Media at FESPA, comments: “At FESPA we are always looking to target new audiences to benefit our global print community. Brand owners recognise print is central to their marketing campaigns, the Creative Corner aims to engage those creatives and designers to illustrate how powerful print is across multiple platforms.

“To have case studies and seminars from some of the biggest brands in the world will hopefully inspire printers, and provide them with the opportunity to discuss these creative possibilities with their customers.”
