When MD John Fearon and design director, James Bassant, founded Astro in 1997, they shared a specific vision of service and quality, and a passion for contemporary design.
Today, Astro’s lights can be seen in leading group-owned and independent hotels worldwide. The company’s achievements earned a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in July of this year.
Astro designs all of its products in house. Its extensive range includes distinguished designs to complement every aspect of the luxury hotel – from bedrooms to bathrooms, and public spaces to exteriors. Particularly pioneering has been its development of IP 44-compliant bathroom lighting, of which it boasts one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges.
Consistent year-on-year growth is testament to Astro’s close attention to detail in design and service, and the dedicated staff at its 35,000ft² headquarters near London. With a committed distribution network and continuous product development, Astro remains as ambitious as ever.
