Hospitality Interiors delighted to announce Silentnight Group as an official sponsor of the Sustainability in Design Awards 2026!
Silentnight began in 1946 in the Yorkshire town of Skipton, where Tom and Joan Clarke started refurbishing mattresses under the name Clarke’s Mattresses. In 1951, Joan had a “brainwave worth millions” and renamed the business Silentnight—a name that would go on to become one of the most recognised bed brands in Europe.
Today, Silentnight Contract is part of The Sleep Group, producing over 800,000 beds annually from our factory in Lancashire. Backed by over 100 years of bed-making heritage, we specialise in expertly crafted, fully certified sleep solutions for the contract and hospitality sector.
From boutique hotels to BTR schemes, PBSA to serviced apartments, our beds and mattresses are designed to meet the demands of commercial use—combining comfort, durability and fire safety with industry-leading service and sustainable manufacturing. We’re dedicated to giving guests a great night’s sleep, no matter where they find themselves.
We’re proud to have Silentnight on board as we celebrate innovation, leadership, and creativity in sustainable design.
