Kartell by Laufen is a complete integrated project for the bathroom. The collection made its debut at ISH, Frankfurt, in March, and was launched to the international public at iSaloni, Milan, where it was be presented at the Kartell flagship store.
Kartell is an Italian family company that has made its mark in the creation of plastic materials for over 60 years. The company’s creative, colourful and iconic vision has been brought together with Swiss bathroom specialist, Laufen. Representing rigorous and reliable design, Laufen has demonstrated a commitment to bring culture to the bathroom and innovation to the production of ceramic sanitaryware for the last 120 years.
Award-winning designers, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba – who have established an international reputation for bathroom designs – are serving as the link between the two companies.
With a focus on design and quality, the Kartell by Laufen bathroom takes shape as an integrated architecture – an interconnected ecosystem where washbasins, sanitaryware, faucets, units, shower bases, bathtubs, lights and accessories co-exist with the maximum flexibility.
The glass-like appearance of the latest-generation polycarbonate and the bare edges of the totemic floor-mounted washbasin provide a minimalistic aesthetic. The rigid geometry of the ceramic items is tempered by the multi-coloured brightness of the plastic elements.
