Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Conference & Spa Hotel, Istanbul Tuzla, in Q4 of this year. The 249-room property will marks Carlson Rezidor’s seventh hotel in Istanbul and further strengthens the group’s leading position within the upper upscale segment in the city. In total, Carlson Rezidor currently operates and develops 11 hotels across Turkey.
“Turkey with its mega city Istanbul is a focus country for our group,” says Wolfgang M Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor. “We see a considerable growth potential for our core brands Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson, and aim to further expand our network together with established partners.”
The new Radisson Blu hotel is located in the Tuzla district of Anatolian Istanbul, 35km south-east of the main city centre. Alongside the 249 contemporary rooms and suites, the hotel will offer two restaurants with terrace, three bars and 3300m² of meeting facilities – comprising a 580m² ballroom and a 580m² conference room, as well as eight meeting rooms measuring 30-260m².
Moreover, the full-service property will feature an indoor and outdoor pool, a wellness area totalling of 4000m² – including a sauna and Hammam – a tennis court, a large garden and parking facilities.
