Rockwell Group, the award-winning architecture and design firm founded by David Rockwell, has announced the appointment of Shawn Sullivan to partner. Shawn, who has worked at Rockwell Group since 1997, will also continue in his role as studio leader of his 50-person studio and oversee a diverse array of renowned hospitality projects in the US, Asia and Europe.
Shawn’s responsibilities will be broadened to cover many firm-wide initiatives. His current projects include Andaz Maui at Wailea, Hawaii; Nobu Hotels in Las Vegas, Riyadh, Chicago and Doha; Marriott Edition hotels in New York and Abu Dhabi; and TAO Downtown in New York.
“Shawn has always been a driving force behind the success and growth of Rockwell Group and his clients,” says David Rockwell. “I am confident that he will apply his extraordinary creative talent and business acumen as partner and generate even greater contributions across the firm.”
