New speakers have been announced for the Keynote programme at Diversified Communications UK’s new Casual Dining trade show, which is to take place on 26-27th February at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

Jens Hofma, CEO at Pizza Hut UK; Alex Reilly, MD at Loungers; Andrew Guy, CEO at Ed’s Easy Diner; and Peter Martin, vice president at CGA Peach; are just some of the big-name speakers already confirmed to host Keynotes at the upcoming event.

Jens, Reilly, Andrew and Peter – all of whom feature on Allegra Strategies’ Top 100 Restaurant Who’s Who List 2013 – will share their observations and expertise on the highly-competitive casual dining market over the course of the two-day show.

The free Keynote programme will also include sessions by Mark McCulloch, former head of marketing at YO! Sushi and Pret a Manger; Scott Elliot, director at CGA Peach; and Jason Katz, founding partner at Kings Park Capital, who will be discussing the role of private equity in the leisure sector. In addition, market updates will be provided by Peter Backman, MD at Horizons; and Simon Stenning, foodservice strategy director at Allegra Strategies.

The full Keynote programme, including the illustrious CEO line-up for the CGA Peach Panel – The Chain Gang, chaired by Peter Martin, is set to be unveiled in January 2014.

“We are thrilled to be able to present our audience with such a strong Keynote line-up for our first event,” says group event manager, Chris Brazier. “Casual Dining will provide an exciting opportunity for our visitors to engage with, and gain valuable advice from, some of the most influential individuals within the casual dining sector. Their support has been invaluable and we are looking forward to a successful launch in February.”

Jamie Barber, co-founder of Cabana Restaurants in London, adds: “Casual dining is one of the most dynamic sectors of the restaurant business today, and we’re excited to finally have a dedicated trade show for it. We’re looking forward to attending the show!”

Readers can register for a free trade pass to the event here.
