Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world’s most-recognizable and iconic brands – continues to expand its growing hotel portfolio, opening its first European and five-star hotel this month in Ibiza, Spain. Currently spanning three continents, with locations ranging from Thailand to Mexico and the United States to Panama, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will strengthen the brand with expansion to a 4th continent and 20th hotel in the collection.

“Expansion across Europe is a major priority as a company and hotel brand. We are currently negotiating multiple hotel and hotel/casino deals in Europe with eyes cities to include London, Barcelona and Munich,” said Hamish Dodds, chief executive officer of Hard Rock International.  “As we increase our European presence, we are pursuing hotel deals where Hard Rock International would manage, as well as opportunities tied to established partners, such as Palladium Hotel Group, our partner in Ibiza.”

Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, the soon-to-open luxury property, located on the island of Ibiza, blends Mediterranean island inspiration with the world-renowned Hard Rock energy throughout its 493-room property. The hotel will offer a wide array of amenities, including a 600-person meeting convention center, and numerous dining options. Most notably, the Michelin star chef, Paco Roncero, will open his concept restaurant, “Sublimotion,” an unparalleled culinary journey of the senses.

For guests looking for rejuvenation, the hotel will offer Rock Spa treatments – the Hard Rock brand’s groundbreaking twist on Swedish massage practices synchronized with a curated playlist. To add to the destination’s famed nightlife offerings, the hotel will include multiple bars and restaurants, including a 2,500-guest outdoor concert terrace where Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will host a full summer line up of global music artists. Guests also revel in the natural beauty of Ibiza with specialty suites complete with private swim-out pools, in addition to two pools enhanced with swim-up bars, private cabanas and attentive poolside service.

Internationally recognized as a world-class entertainment and lifestyle brand, Hard Rock properties offer stylish and contemporary design, unparalleled service and the thread that unites them all – music. Hard rock’s portfolio of Hotels and Casinos are located in the world’s most enviable resort destinations, as well as urban getaway cities. Hard Rock Hotels cater to the evolving and distinctive needs of today’s cosmopolitan, modern travelers, who seek a reprieve from traditional, predictable properties, whether for business or leisure travel.
