Office hospitality solutions from Sketch Studios

Providing a fully-integrated range of services and solutions for all areas of the office environment – including hospitality spaces – Sketch Studios prides itself on contributing to offices that help staff naturally collaborate, interact and knowledge-share. Since its inception seven years ago, Sketch Studios has supplied over £60m of furniture and specialises in incorporating original designer classics from the likes of Eames, Knoll Studio, Poltrana Frau and Vitra within its projects.

Two of the company’s most notable projects in terms of office hospitality spaces are The Clubhouse – a business club, lounge and meeting space in the heart of Mayfair, and Thunderhead.com’s office on Soho’s Broadwick Street, Soho.

The Clubhouse at 11-14 Grafton Street is a 6,000 sq ft space with a contemporary feel. Created by design and fit-out specialist, Area Sq – sister company to Sketch Studios – there is a distinct sense of openness and connectivity between the ground and lower floors.  A central coffee area has been incorporated into the club, where elegant timber fin details have been used to subtly divide the space and provide a sense of privacy within the lounge spaces.

Designed to provide flexibility for members and a luxurious, professional space in which to work, meet and host events, Area Sq has created open-plan lounge spaces, informal flexible meeting areas, a range of high-specification meeting rooms and boardrooms, hot desks, touchdown spaces and an events space for up to 150 people. To capture the different mood of each space, Area Sq has used a variety of contemporary lighting products, wall coverings and striking signature furniture pieces from Sketch.

For the offices of Thunderhead.com – a leading provider of Cloud solutions for Customer Engagement – the company needed a space which would allow employees to showcase the brand to clients and impress them from the moment they entered the door.

The latest technology is at the forefront of the design. The ideas table, a versatile space that caters for the more transient, millennial worker, working on mobile devices, provides an informal social hub in the middle of the floor. This touch down point provides flexibility and encourages more spontaneous, informal collaboration.
