Stylt Trampoli wins contract to design new 25hours hotel

Swedish design agency Stylt Trampoli has been chosen by hotel chain, 25hours, to create and realise a concept for its latest project, 25hours Düsseldorf. The new hotel will open in the spring of 2018.

Stylt Trampoli is the first design agency from outside Germany entrusted to create a hotel for the chain, which is widely admired for its creativity and innovation.

25hours Düsseldorf will be situated in the Quartier Central, an area of Düsseldorf that is characterised by a rich French heritage, and the hotel concept will be inspired by the mixture of German functionality and French finesse. The hotel, which will be the tallest building in the area (known as the Quartier Central) has been given the working name ‘Das Tour’: the tower.

25hours currently owns and operates seven hotels in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They’re known for creating vibrant and playful concepts with a strong connection to the hotel’s location. The fundamental idea is that each hotel tells a unique story, and it’s an idea that has made an impact: 25hours won European Hotel Design Awards four times in a row (2011-2014), as well as Travel & Leisure Design Award and multiple Hotelimobilie des Jahre awards.

“This is an incredibly exciting development for us,” says Stylt’s founder and creative director, Erik Nissen Johansen. “25hours has been at the top of our list of dream collaborations since forever – we feel that Stylt and 25hours is a real match made in heaven. Now that we finally get to realise that dream, we’re aiming to make sure that the result is something truly extraordinary.”

Stylt Trampoli is a multi-award-winning Swedish concept- and design agency with clients and projects all over the world. Its architects, art directors, designers, marketers and branding experts use storytelling to build projects where the brand, the business opportunity and the interiors are perfectly aligned, creating inspiring environments and memorable experiences for guests. Most of the agency’s clients are hotels and restaurants, with occasional forays into themed attractions, resorts, and destination development.
