Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun opens

Marriott International has announced the grand opening of Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun. The 409-room hotel feature’s Courtyard by Marriott’s spacious and contemporarily designed guest rooms and suites that provide flexibility and choices to allow guests to optimize and elevate their travel experience.

As the global leader in the select service category, Courtyard has an understanding of business and leisure travelers alike, and the brand continues to explore and implement ways to meet and exceed the needs of every guest. Courtyard combines innovative technology with style and comfort to provide guests with the spaces they need to make the most of their time while traveling.

“Namdaemun is a cultural epicenter, combining the best of South Korea’s tradition with innovation and technology.” says Mr. Rajeev Menon, Chief Operations Officer, Southeast Asia and Pacific, Marriott International. “As the first Courtyard by Marriott in Namdaemun, the property is designed to offer relaxing and functional spaces to accommodate guests and help them to be productive while they travel. We look forward to opening the doors to this new property and welcoming friends and guests from around the world.”

Courtyard’s overall design is modern, contemporary, and thoughtful. Every room is equipped with premium amenities including 49 inch LED televisions, Courtyard labeled bedding, high-speed internet access, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls through which guests can enjoy a scenic view of national treasure No.1 Namdaemun and N Seoul Tower. The Namdaemun Suite on the 19th floor has an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy the panoramic views of Seoul city, perfect for private functions and gatherings.  The Executive Lounge is located on the 22nd floor, and exclusively offers guests complimentary breakfast, evening canapés, use of meeting rooms and snacks throughout the day.

Upon entering Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun guests are welcomed by an expansive atrium that allows natural sunlight to illuminate the lobby area. Attentive staff will eagerly greet guests and assist them with check-in and other requests.  Guests can take advantage of dining at the Momo Café or enjoy a snack and a beverage at the Momo Lounge & Bar. The third floor features, five multi-functional meeting rooms which can comfortably accommodate up to 150 people for any occasion.
