Style without compromise

Merlyn Showering‘s marketing manager, Edel Nicholson, reveals the perfect bathroom products to meet the unique needs of the hospitality sector.

Historically, choosing bathroom products for hotels and restaurants was based on the criteria of the more robust the better.

Fortunately, the latest generation of products offer amazing durability with absolutely no compromise on style or functionality.

Mindful of the precise needs of the hospitality industry and its ever-growing demand for the very best specifications, manufacturers are now delivering more choice, quality and value for money than ever.

We have moved so far in such a short period of time. Chic and luxurious ‘hotel-style’ bathroom design is now a highly desired look within private homes and one which interior magazines, websites and blogs are keen to explore.

Yet whilst design-led products are leading the way, choosing the perfect bathroom products for the hospitality industry also has to make clear commercial sense. Longevity is key, so choosing classic styles that won’t easily go out of fashion is one major consideration; durability is the other.

Not only are our collections exquisitely designed and expertly manufactured, at Merlyn we rigorously and meticulously test all our products for a minimum of two months. So we are assured that all our enclosures, shower walls and bath screens are safe and will truly stand the test of time. Every range also comes with the trademark Mershield Stayclear glass protection and Merlyn Lifetime Guarantee.

Our bath screens are a popular hotel choice but the challenge is to ensure they are leak free. SecureSeal by Merlyn is the ultimate and guaranteed leak-free bath screen.

The arm extends from the profile to create a complete seal between the bath and screen and, when not in use, it simply folds away back into the profile, making access for cleaning a dream for busy staff. The screen is crafted from 6mm glass and has a generous bath screen height of 1500mm.

Additionally for wetrooms, the Merlyn 8 Series Showerwall with Swivel Panel is both stylish and functional by design.

With a generous glass height of 2015mm and glass thickness of 8mm it has an optional adjustable swivel panel that will deflect shower spray. This shower enclosure is perfect in either corner or recess to maximise space.

Finally, our pièce de résistance, the Arysto by Merlyn 3 Panel Sliding Door. It is the most luxurious and perfectly-crafted shower enclosure on the market.

The sliding door has been engineered to float effortlessly on the Arysto AirGlyde system. With 10mm glass and a height of 2000mm this is a highly specified, high-end product that offers a true spa-like experience for luxury hotel rooms.
