“We are delighted for Kananaskis Mountain Lodge to join the Autograph Collection Hotels as our first in Alberta, Canada,” says Don Cleary, President of Canada for Marriott International. “With its curated design, rich, local history, and beautiful mountain setting, this hotel perfectly embodies the brand’s exactly like nothing else mantra and is a welcome addition the growing global portfolio of more than 135 hotels worldwide.”

The Kananaskis Mountain Lodge features 247 contemporary guest rooms, suites and lofts, many of which offer breathtaking views of the mountains. The design seamlessly blends high-end, modern luxuries with rugged mountain living, offering locals and travelers a convenient hub to escape into the solitude of the picturesque Kananaskis Valley and explore four seasons full of wilderness adventures, such as hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, skating and snow shoeing.

A completely renovated indoor/outdoor hot tub, fitness room, new waterpark and expansive new playground will be completed in Spring/Summer 2018 – offering a hot spot for families to indulge, relax and play. Also offered on-site are full service conference, meeting and wedding facilities with over 18,000 square foot of space and 21 rooms to choose from.

A culinary journey awaits at the Lodge’s four unique and redesigned restaurants. Market Café offers grab-and-go breakfasts options; the Blacktail Bar lobby lounge provides hand-crafted cocktails; Forte, the Italian restaurant offers  delicious homemade Italian fare; and the Cedar Room Mountain Chophouse offers the signature 32oz Tomahawk Beef Chop.

Guests can also make use of the newly reopened Kananaskis Country Golf Course, a premier golf destination in the Canadian Rockies, or a rejuvenating visit to the brand new Kananaskis Nordic Spa, featuring four outdoor pools, six steam and sauna cabins, an exfoliation room, a salt-water float pool, heated hammocks, plus eight massage treatment rooms, the Two Trees Bistro, all conveniently located on-site at the Lodge.
