Inside Out Contracts recently collaborated with Commercial Road Development to create a contemporary and practical design for its latest venue, Live1 in London. Covering 18 floors, Live1 is luxury student accommodation located in the centre of Aldgate. Inside Out supplied furniture for the cafe and bar area, library and courtyard.
The impressive property was inspired by contemporary design and striking furniture pieces. Fresh, bold colours – such as green, red, black and yellow – were chosen as the main colours for the project. The combination of all the selected Inside Out pieces gives the interior an on-trend and welcoming ambiance.
For the courtyard, Commercial Road chose the popular Icon table, which – combined with the Plus chair – created a relaxed and stylish meeting space for the residents.
Inside Out’s elegant Ara chair and Ypsilon table are featured in the cafe area, while the Metropolitan seating unit – handmade in the UK from Inside Out’s custom-made collection – creates a feature piece in the bar.
The library is situated on the 17th floor, and offers striking panoramic views of the city. The space was furnished with minimalistic and functional furniture. The Kew lounge chair was selected, alongside the design-led Trend chair and Jump table – which were all selected to complement the surroundings.
