Interior designer professionals, be ready for an exciting opportunity to connect with the best of French design and craftsmanship!

Whether you are an interior designer, a decorator, a specifier in the hospitality field, or a property developer, Le FRENCH DESIGN SPEED DATING is an unmissable opportunity to meet a curated selection of France’s best suppliers to the home decor and interior design industry, over a series of short face-to-face interviews.

Le FRENCH DESIGN unlocks access to an exceptional panel of companies and leading experts in their fields, coming together under the same roof for this annual rendez-vous. French artisans, makers, manufacturers, editors, fitters, industrialists, are world-renowned for their outstanding know-how and expertise, as well as for their sense of innovation.

From unique high-end pieces created for private projects, through complex heritage restoration schemes, to vast modern hospitality programs – the range of skills and services showcased are wide and selected for their unparalleled quality.

Discover decorative painters, enamellers, leaf gilders, straw marquetry workers, feather workers, embossed leather workers, glass workers, bronze and iron workers, customised cabinet makers, fitters, custom made lighting, handmade carpets manufacturers, tiles and ceramics makers, original fabrics and wallpapers editors as well as the best French furniture manufacturers, innovative recycled and recyclable material makers, sonic identity providers and many other original solution providers.

The best of French traditional know-how and innovative technologies serving the interior design industry will come together for in person meetings – on June 13, 2023, at the prestigious Centre Pompidou in the heart of Paris, or online in Zoom sessions from June 20 until June 22.

How does it work?

First, registration…

Interior designers and specifiers can register online until May 5 by filling in a short form available on Le FRENCH DESIGN website, where they inform the specific skills and services required for their ongoing or future projects. The number and nature of interlocutors is depending on the areas of interest and wishes expressed through the registration form.

Then, matching…

The curation is made by Le FRENCH DESIGN’s experts committee in partnership with the INMA, the French National Institute for Craftsmanship, and guarantees high skilled insight when it comes to selecting best matching parties in sight of most promising collaborations.

Eventually, meetings!

For those willing to attend in person, the interviews are set on June 13 afternoon at Centre Pompidou in Paris – the 15 minutes mini-meetings format allows interior designers and specifiers discover specific skills and discuss potential collaborations with French artisans, furniture manufacturers and a diverse range of space design professionals.

Alternatively, the same bespoke service is available online, from June 20 to 22.

Le FRENCH DESIGN SPEED DATING is an exclusive event that brings together the most talented interior designers and specifiers with the finest artisans and craftspeople from France in this inspiring and most efficient speed dating format, allowing establishing a first contact with various companies in a very short amount of time. The aim being to connect people and businesses – each year around 1000 meetings are arranged. It is sure to be an inspiring and rewarding experience for all who attend.

Among the former attendees, numerous leading French and international architectural practices and specifiers have already trusted Le FRENCH DESIGN :
