Production of RAK Ceramics‘ Lounge collection has reached 20 million m². The Lounge collection includes porcelain wall and floor tiles, as well as slabs and decorative insets. It is sold in more than 120 countries and has become a best-selling range in the UK market, where it accounts for 85% of tile sales.
Combining aesthetic and performance benefits, RAK’s Lounge collection is renowned for its high strength, low water absorption, frost-, acid- and alkali-resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor wall and floor application. Tiles and mosaic formats are offered in a range of mottled shades – both polished and unpolished – alongside polished Listello borders with chrome glass insets. Large-format Lounge polished slabs offer seamless continuation and can be fabricated to create practically any surface, from vanity unit to external cladding.
All surfaces from the range are manufactured using Double Charged technology, which creates a natural uniform effect. Recent Lounge applications include the O2 Arena in the UK; Schlosscarre Shopping Mall in Braunschweig, Germany; the Stadion Centre Stadium in Vienna; the Movenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport in Germany; The Wave Muscat in Oman; the Power Tower Linz in Austria; and the Meydan Grandstand in Dubai.
