Renolit brings matt finishes to the fore

Matt as a surface finish continues to increase in popularity, and remains a strong market trend for 2013. The introduction of new Renolit Alkoren Suedette Matt colours – Alpine Suedette Matt and Graphite Suedette Matt – to its collection of classic 3D forming foils, provides the market with attractive, high-performing products ideal for this trend.

The Renolit Alkoren Alpine and Graphite Suedette Matt colours have completed Finish Performance Testing by FIRA, and satisfy the requirements for the assessment of kitchen worktops, doors and other panel elements as specified in BS6222 part 3 1999.

Renolit Alkoren Alpine Suedette Matt is the brightest white in the collection, and ideally complements the other colours in the range, sitting alongside Platinum White Suedette Matt to increase customers’ choice. Alpine White is matched to Egger Alpine White.

Renolit Alkoren Graphite Suedette Matt, on the other hand, is a dark anthracite grey, which is matched to the Egger Graphite product – thereby extending the variety of darker options available.

Covering a wide colour spectrum of whites, neutrals, beiges and greys, the complete collection of eight Suedette Matt colours provides designers with the flexibility to create colour tones to suit individual requirements – alongside the ability to mix and match with a variety of printed woodgrains or special effects.

The Suedette Matt colours are available in two product constructions – the 350-micron 3D stock range item and a complementary made-to-order 170-micron Renolit Alkor SR wrapping grade.

The complete collection of Suedette Matt colours comprises: Alpine Suedette Matt, Graphite Suedette Matt, Platinum White Suedette Matt, Soft Cream Suedette Matt, Mussel Suedette Matt, Dakar Suedette Matt, Plover Suedette Matt and Stone Grey Suedette Matt.

The Renolit Alkoren Alpine and Graphite Suedette Matt items were added into the 2013 stock range, alongside a number of other innovative Renolit Alkoren and Renolit Covaren decors. The introductions consist of 29 woodgrain- and printed-effects and modern textured surfaces.

Renolit is a market leader in 3D thermoforming films. Its surfacing products have been developed to meet the highest standards of design, quality and performance. The Renolit 3D Stock Range is presented as two individual brands, each with distinctive and appealing product characteristics.

Renolit Alkoren presents a classic collection of woodgrains and solid colours. All the major woodgrain species are available in a range of shades and tones, such as oak, beech, maple and cherry, as well as exotic timbers and fashionable fruitwoods. A wide range of solid colours covers the whole palette – from light to dark and vibrant to subtle.

Renolit Covaren contains the company’s premier 3D films. The stock collection is setting trends with new and sophisticated surface structures, and the realistic woodgrain prints have been designed to be almost indistinguishable from natural wood. The range of solid colours contains metallic effects as well as matt finishes, and high-gloss films are available in a variety of colours and decors.

All new designs can be seen in the 2013 edition A4 Renolit Highlights collection binder, which is available in addition to the handy A6-sized three-part complete range set. To request samples or further information, readers should contact Renolit directly.
