56 Welbeck Street, London

This summer has seen the grand opening of No 5 Maddox Street’s sister property, 56 Welbeck Street – a stylish offering of design-led extended stay residences in the fashionable surroundings of Marylebone Village.

Located within a stone’s throw of Bond Street and the West End, 56 Welbeck Street mirrors its desirable locale with seven chic apartments – each with a bedroom, fully-fitted kitchen and living area.

With the privacy and freedom of a private home, yet with all the services and perks of a 5-star hotel, the interior design and selection of amenities within these residences are artfully tailored to the modern traveller.

Effortless, open-plan living is key – high ceilings and abundant natural light providing the ideal canvas for the apartments’ carefully-considered interior scheme.

From Berber rugs and original 1970s framed chandeliers, to prints from the likes of Tracey Emin, the apartments feature design-led furnishings that nevertheless create a comforting, lived-in feel.

A selection of luxury linens, cashmere throws and linen robes completes this homely feel, alongside a collection of art and design coffee table books for guests to peruse.

This attention to detail extends to the state-of-the-art technology installed throughout the building. All apartments boast sleek Neff kitchens, Nespresso coffee machines, underfloor heating, workstations with MP3 docking stations and VoIP telephones, complimentary high-speed Wifi and 40in slim-line Samsung Smart TVs, complete with a full Sky package and Netflix.

As well as 24-hour telephone concierge services, guests are also offered a complimentary day pass to The Third Space Health Club Marylebone, as well as a twice-weekly maid service.

Combining the chic interior of a hotel room with all the home comforts of private residence, 56 Welbeck Street thus provides an ideal base from which to explore some of London’s renowned leisure and tourist attractions.
