Blue Sky Hospitality designs all-day dining restaurant

This striking space is the creation of international restaurant designer, Henry Chebaane, and his team from Blue Sky Hospitality studio who have conceived a fresh, vibrant and hip alternative to the usually predictable hotel all-day dining restaurant.

Located inside the JW Marriott Absheron Baku, one of the region’s most prestigious hotels, ZEST is already attracting widespread acclaims throughout the city for its invigorating mood and design, as well as the fresh service delivered by the management team.

The branding, lighting and interior design take inspiration from Miami’s South Beach and Sydney’s Bondi Beach combined with the citrus groves of Lenkaran, the subtropical southern region of Azerbaijan.

Spread over 1000 square metres of prime real estate on the ground floor of the property, the entire space invigorates customers with a crisp palette of pale oak, white marble, linen Corian and polished stainless steel punctuated by pops of vibrant citrus colours.

Modernist furniture, intricate custom millwork and numerous design details deliver a cosmopolitan vibe with strong style and youthful elegance.

The highest ceiling point at 8.5m is covered with “VITAMIN SPRITZ” a striking lighting art installation, made of 101 globes and 2500 rods of translucent yellow, orange and lime floating in space while gently pulsing through the day as part of a sophisticated scenography created by Blue Sky Hospitality design studio.

A second large scale art installation, also by Henry Chebaane, is ‘DUCK MARMALADE’: a whimsical spread of 1500 orange rubber ducks floating inside an eleven meters pool of granite and white marble.

The modern Mediterranean cuisine is focused on health and wellness with inspiration taken from across Turkey, Lebanon, Greece, Spain and Sicily as well as local dishes rich in fruits, herbs and vegetables.

“ZEST life style caf锝 provides guests with an all immersive environment of laid-back luxury merging art, retail, bar and dining, this includes a flower atelier, exclusive books, cult fragrances, limited-edition urban vinyl art, a coffee bar, a patisserie, a salad pantry, pizza oven and all day café.
