Accor’s boutique premium hotel collection has officially opened its flagship property in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery located in the reborn building with a history, surrounded by the vibrant culture welcomes guests with the captivating story of Europe’s oldest continually inhabited city. Travellers discovering Plovdiv will be mesmerized by bespoke design, smart technology, signature experiences and thoughtful self-care rituals designed by MGallery.

The booutique hotel features 61 stunningly designed rooms including 12 remarkable suites, offering an exceptional variety of facilities and amenities to create a truly luxurious experience. Designed by the world-renowned Sundukovy Sisters S+S, the exquisite five-star hotel located within walking distance from Plovdiv’s main touristic and archaeological treasures.

The boutique premium hotel, located in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is a unique 5-star experience which will amaze its guests with exceptional design, one-of-a-kind champagne bar and smart rooms with luxurious features that allow individual scenarios according to the guests’ mood. Bringing hospitality into the future, The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery introduces innovative technologies to enhance the hotel experience for its guests with Smart Room concepts full of personalization options that allow guests to adjust the light in their room, adjust the ambience, open and close the curtains and control the audio-visual functions, all with the simple touch of a button – smart design enhanced by technology that has guest needs as its heart.

The interior of The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery corresponds with the shape of an ancient forum – a place where modernity, premium quality and smart technology meets the original historic features of the building. The sophisticated luxury of the MGallery brand is emphasised by a skilful combination of modern materials, typical of the building, and recognisable ancient Forum motifs in a modern interpretation: rough background with neat brass accents, stucco, elegant gold lamps, natural wood, sophisticated paintings against a background of restrained minimalism.

A perfect mix of tradition and modernity, the brand-new The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery hotel offers intimate relaxation and fitness zones, helping guests to keep the body and soul in balance in refined settings for absolute tranquillity. Guests can enjoy a trendy restaurant and a champagne & cocktail bar for a journey full of unique tastes and classic dishes in vibrant and avant-garde spaces conceived for socialising.

International travelers and local guests of the hotel will be able to also enjoy intimate relax and fitness zones, a trendy restaurant and an MGallery tailor-made signature scent inspired by the destination and developed by the exclusive French Shams Conseils Paris company.

The interior design was commissioned to Sundukovy Sisters S+S, one of the fastest growing and creative architectural studios in the hospitality industry and winners of Designers of the year 2018 title awarded by The Gold Key Awards, New York.

“Opening of this astonishing hotel is the beginning of the beautiful adventure of creating unforgettable moments for our guests travelling to Plovdiv from all over the world. With the unique ambiance of the boutique MGallery brand taking hospitality to the higher level we encourage everyone to relax, admire some of the world’s oldest, golden treasures of the region and create stories that stay in memories forever,” says Paweł Pańczak, General Manager, The Emporium Plovdiv – MGallery.
