Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay, a stylish beachfront resort located in Crete’s famed Agios Nikolaos in the Elounda region, today announces the completion of an extensive renovation project and a host of enhanced amenities ahead of the summer season. Owning company Zeus International Hotels & Resorts invested a total of ¬60 million in the renovation project after acquiring the renowned Mirabello Beach & Village, which opened in 1972.
The iconic property overlooking the popular Mirabello bay has now been completely repositioned with a new design combining the authentic Cretan hospitality with the experience of a bohemian chic resort. The impressive transformation includes all the resort’s 314 guestrooms and bungalows with contemporary design, soft textures, oak wood and a green and blue colour palette, inspired by the beautiful Cretan seas and the lush nature surrounding the hotel.
New amenities include 55 new private and jetted pools, 10 new outdoor Jacuzzis and three new yoga decks overlooking the bay. The investment also included the complete transformation and extension of the seafront area, now boasting 70 brand new cabanas and a revamped private yacht marina.
