1 Hotel Mayfair, the brand’s UK and European flagship, opening 13th July 2023, is recruiting for its final opening team members; inviting them to come and work in the great indoors. Sprouting soon, the property boasts 181 guest rooms including 44 suites, Dovetale restaurant and terrace: by two Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers, Dover Yard: the hotel’s signature cocktail bar led by Director of Bars Matteo Carretta and Neighbours: a ground floor coffee shop. Deep rooted in nature, 1 Hotel Mayfair looks for team members who resonate with the property’s mission-driven mentality – be that the Sommelier, Hotel Receptionist or Door Person. Team members are encouraged to act as ‘unofficial’ Nature Curators, showing a willingness and interest in the property’s 1,300 individual plants, shrubs and trees – though no previous experience in Biophilia or gardening is required.

Located just steps from London’s iconic Green Park, the chosen team members will collaborate with the 1 Hotel Mayfair gardening and landscaping team, gaining knowledge on the plant life, as the greenskeepers work to tend to the 200 plant species across the property: from the external living walls climbing the height of the building, to the plants in the bedrooms, to the newly renovated public outdoor space Dover Yard, that has been gifted to the neighbourhood.
With nature intertwined into every aspect of 1 Hotel Mayfair – from the design, layout, creativity, culture, storytelling and service – the chosen team members will show a willingness to educate guests and the public whilst practising their skill of choice.
Team members must:
● Have an eye for detail and a willingness to beautify green spaces, instilling the knowledge learnt, to guests of the restaurant & bar, hotel and Bamford Wellness Spa
● Have appropriate experience in the current field advertised. 1 Hotel Mayfair are currently recruiting for 35 positions; including:
