As part of its ongoing multi-million dollar renovation, Château Élan Winery & Resort in Georgia, USA, is celebrating the opening of Marc Bar & Restaurant.
This southern-inspired bar and chophouse is situated within the resort’s 16th century-styled château and winery. Designed to complement the resort’s vast locale, Marc opens its doors to lush vineyard views and a completely refreshed menu with a special focus on artisanal libations curated by new Winery Chef, Jarad Blanton – who brings more than 20 years of food and beverage experience to Château Élan.
Conceptualised by the Atlanta-based interior and architectural design firm, BLUR Workshop, the team was tasked to lead the resort’s renovation and deliver a distinctly southern design, inspired by the surrounding rolling hills and vineyards.
Accessorized with industrial lighting, French oak accents and local artwork, further defining its sense of place, the new rustic ambiance adds a sleek soapstone bar to the back of the existing restaurant, creating a rich yet intimate gathering space.
Acting as a decorative entrance, Marc is surrounded by herringbone floors leading into the winery tasting room which added romantic details and enclosed booths, which are almost six feet tall, providing guests with the option to have a more private experience.
