Hospitality Interiors Magazine can exclusively reveal that Dennis Irvine will join London-based hospitality design specialist, Richmond International, in September 2021 as a Director.

Dennis will be a huge attribute to the team, working across longstanding client partners including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, The Langham Hospitality Group and Raffles Hotels.

Prior to joining Richmond International, Dennis founded and led Dennis Irvine Studio. He has also previously worked for several renowned London design studios, delivering luxury projects worldwide from Wellness SPA’s, private residences and super yachts, to restaurants and hotels for prestigious operators both renowned and independent.

“I’ve always shared a design ethos with Fiona and the team at Richmond International, with a focus on authenticity, honesty and creating design that endures, so being part of this studio feels like a very natural fit”

Clients have included Marriott Luxury Collection, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, The Dorchester Collection and Waldorf Astoria Hotels.

Dennis has also won an AHEAD Europe award and was listed in House and Garden’s ‘Leading 100 Interior Designers’ and Country & Townhouse ‘Finest 50 Interior Designers’.

“With Dennis on the team, we have the opportunity to refresh and revitalise our outlook and approach to our forthcoming projects,” says Fiona Thompson, Principal at Richmond International. “He brings with him a new energy, invaluable expertise and a different set of experiences that will bolster our existing design team. Dennis will be instrumental in continuing to shape and evolve our projects creating long-lasting and relevant design.

“Dennis and I have known each other within the industry for years and first discussed him joining the team over a year ago, so we’re delighted he’s onboard. We’re looking forward to working together, back in our Richmond International offices too.”

Dennis Irvine comments: “I’ve always shared a design ethos with Fiona and the team at Richmond International, with a focus on authenticity, honesty and creating design that endures, so being part of this studio feels like a very natural fit. Richmond International has already established a legacy through its work but I’m delighted to be part of pushing that forward even further.”

Find out more about this exciting new development in our exclusive interview with Dennis in Hospitality Interiors’ September-October issue.
