Big Mamma Group – the team behind the 23 trattorias across France, the UK, Monaco, Spain and Germany – have now opened Gloria in Milan. This is their first foray into Italian soil and the country that inspired it all.
Gloria is the ultimate luxurious escape, evoking a sensual holiday in a glamorous, opulent villa from the mid-1960s. Covering two floors with 225 covers, the restaurant features exceptional detailing such as 1.5 metre bespoke chandeliers, made by a local Milanese artist, and striped golden and pure white Siena marble flooring throughout. The menu is filled with authentic Italian recipes with French and European twists, and of course, the very best regional Italian produce sourced from over 150 artisan suppliers.
Sink into one of the 226 velvet armchairs, and begin your trip in Gloria, an opulent and glamorous villa from the mid-sixites. From the Giallo Siena golden marble floor to huge colourful art-chandeliers of 70kg handmade by Jacopo Foggini, dive into Gloria’s world.
