Campbell House, an interior design firm, announced that industry veteran Darrell Long is officially onboard.
Long, a founding partner of Campbell House, will oversee the creative direction of the firm’s U.S. and upcoming EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) design studios.
“In building our core leadership team at Campbell House, the role of creative guru is one of utmost importance. Luckily for us we have one of the top innovative and storytelling minds in the business, at the helm as our creative voice – Darrell Long,” said Beth Campbell, CEO of Campbell House. “From the moment we met we were instantly connected as our obvious passion for design, innovation and client service were made apparent even in that first conversation. We solidified a “we don’t want to be the biggest – we want to be the best” philosophy. As we started our creative house, I could not think of a stronger design partner to lead the creative talent at Campbell House. We truly believe we are stronger together.”
Long is a self-proclaimed modernist designer, bringing more than 25 years of design expertise to Campbell House. An industry veteran, he sets the standard for luxury design, combing comfort, technology and innovation in all aspects of international hospitality design. Prior to Campbell House, Long was the regional managing director of Wilson Associates, a global interior design firm. Before that, he was a partner and design director at HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates), another world-renowned hospitality design firm.
“I am proud to announce that I have joined Beth Campbell’s namesake venture and her merry band of creatives at Campbell House as founding partner-creative,” said Long. “I learned that the intensely intelligent tenants we both discussed ad-nauseum are now creatively embraced, lovingly preached and diligently practiced. It is the most beautiful culmination of everything we all have learned….and our philosophy of wanting to be the best is now realistically my mantra, and it is irrepressibly attainable.”
