D&D London has announced the return of Angelo Albera as head chef of Cantina del Ponte.
Angelo has returned to London from Abu Dhabi where he worked as speciality chef of modern Italian restaurant Amici, at Yas Viceroy luxury hotel group.
Angelo has a wealth of experience working in Italian restaurants, including brand chef for Zuccato in London and senior executive sous chef at Wafi, which won the Time Out award for Best Italian Restaurant in Dubai.
With the opportunity to return to the London and once again lead the kitchen at Cantina del Ponte, Angelo is looking forward to a new challenge. “We have always loved Angelo’s authentic Italian cooking and are excited to welcome him back to Cantina del Ponte,” says David Loewi, D&D London’s MD.
Cantina del Ponte is a traditional Italian trattoria featuring an outdoor terrace space with panoramic views across the City, situated by the River Thames at Butlers Wharf, Tower Bridge.
