CP Hart, one of the UK’s leading bathroom suppliers, has launched a new training academy at its flagship Waterloo showroom – expressing the company’s ongoing commitment to training and development.

The programme has been devised to include an engaging mix of internal and external training, with specialist organisations and leading manufacturers being brought in to assist with developing and motivating employees and trade professionals.

The academy programme for employees has been introduced to nurture product, design and brand knowledge internally, while developing service skills. The programme consists of a three-tier syllabus covering Starter, Intermediate and Advanced learning.

CP Hart has worked closely with Phoenix to devise the bespoke sales training course, and the KLC School of Design to cultivate inspirational interior design workshops. Prominent bathroom manufacturers have also worked closely with CP Hart to develop rigorous product training. Sessions will include factory and site visits, alongside in-depth sessions within the academy.

As part of CP Hart’s commitment to the industry, the training academy will also offer seminars for architects and interior designers. The programme will consist of free seminars for trade professionals covering industry regulations and design specifications. All of the seminars are fully accredited.

Forthcoming seminars include: Specifying sauna and steam for residential, commercial and hospitality installations from Effigibi; Sanitary and accessibility – design and function for all from Hewi UK; and Part G made easy from Hansgrohe.

Paul Rowland, MD of CP Hart, comments: “Training and development has always been of utmost importance at CP Hart, as we have built a strong reputation for offering technical and design expertise to professionals and consumers. Continued investment in training over the years has meant that every sales consultant is able to offer comprehensive advice on everything from water pressure and plumbing through to interior trends, technical innovations and materials.

“Our new training academy represents the next major development for the business, as it will enable us to further develop skills internally and help support our clients in their professional development. The academy programme is an extensively researched training programme that covers all areas of design, planning and service for our employees, but also provides full accredited CPD seminars on design applications, installation and industry regulations for architects and interior designers.

“Our employees and trade clients rightly expect the very best, and are confident that the academy will ensure they remain fully supported, and that CP Hart retains its leading position within the bathroom industry.”
