Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour welcomes visitors back

From today, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour looks forward to welcoming visitors back to enjoy its remarkable world of design. Expect new measures to help make sourcing safe, seamless and inspiring.

The safety and welfare of its community of showrooms, colleagues and visitors is a priority, and adhering to government guidance, it has applied significant social distancing measures. Clear information and wayfinding signage have been placed at key locations and temperature checkpoint devices can be found in in all ground floor lift lobbies and at the North and South entrances. It is continuing a rigorous cleaning regime and there will be increased accessibility and visibility of hand sanitisers at multiple stations.

Welcoming you back is a hugely positive step not only for the Design Centre, but also for the long-term future of the design industry. In the last weeks people have adapted to a virtual reality, but what has been missing is the personal connection we all need for inspiration. At the Design Centre, there is an abundance of designer know-how all under one roof and expert guidance at every turn. The wealth of insider knowledge is truly extraordinary, and showroom teams are eager to share it once again.

Decor has never come under greater scrutiny or become so central to our lives. Do you need new curtains, a lamp or a sofa, or perhaps an overhaul of the entire house is in order? For the trade, the speculation has proven true. People cooped up in their houses are craving change and interior designers have taken on new work and are completing existing projects.

For professionals and design enthusiasts alike, nothing beats seeing beautiful products in person. After weeks staring at a computer screen, it will be an uplifting experience to return to see exquisite detailing and the dramatic use of colour and pattern once again. The Design Centre also celebrates makers, skill and craftsmanship, and is committed to keeping supply chains going.

On hand, too, is the complimentary Designer Sourcing and Personal Shopping Services. They know the showrooms inside out and can help and advise with any sourcing requests.

Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is looking forward to welcoming you back to its safe and inspiring environment. After your visit you will be brimming with ideas and optimism about the days ahead.

Opening times:

9.30am – 5.30pm

Please check with individual showrooms for their opening times during this transitional phase as we ease out of lockdown.
