yoo Hotels has announced the opening of its first yoo2 hotel. yoo2 Taksim Square, Istanbul, is an innovative new offering to the market for design-led travellers seeking original experiences.
Commanding awe-inspiring views of the Bosphorus and directly positioned on the steps of leafy Gezi Park, yoo2 Taksim Square is the latest in a steady stream of innovative cultural outposts surfacing in the Turkish capital.
The hotel combines carefully curated design and innovative technology throughout. All 59 guest rooms and suites feature fine fabrics and contemporary furniture for a luxurious and comfortable guest experience. Locally-inspired details – including glass separators engraved with historical scenes – capture the spirit of Istanbul as a cultural hub.
In a clear nod to sustainability, innovative and recycled materials – including walnut tree casings and natural stone floors – have been used throughout the public areas and rooms.
The hotel restaurant is open all day and night, serving traditional and modern Turkish menus, as well as international dishes, using locally-sourced produce.
