Auberge Resorts Collection has announced the appointment of George Georgousis as General Manager of Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection, the brand’s first European property located on the Greek island of Santorini.
Mr Georgousis joins Grace Hotel Auberge ahead of the 2024 season as the prestigious clifftop resort further enhances its luxurious Grecian hospitality offering. From May onwards, guests will be able to enjoy the addition of two brand-new ultra-private and stylish Infinity Suites, each with their own infinity swimming pool and outdoor relaxation area. Grace Hotel Auberge will also be welcoming new destination-inspired experiences as well as a new seasonal Mediterranean menu at the celebrated Varoulko Santorini restaurant, by Michelin-awarded chef Lefteris Lazarou.
Born and raised in Athens, Mr Georgousis’ career has taken him throughout Greece and beyond, with leadership roles at The St. Regis Rome and The St. Regis Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. During his time with Starwood, Mr Georgousis was one of only 26 Directors to be selected for the Senior Operations Academy of Marriott Europe, which allowed him to travel within the company and provide strategic task force support for their many property openings. Most recently, he served as the General Manager of Andronis Arcadia in Santorini, a position held since 2022.
