Following an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and prestigious VIP ‘Purple’ Carpet entrance – graced by the highest echelons of Manila high society and VIP guests including finance secretary Cesar Purisima; SM Prime Holdings President Hans Sy; Pagcor Chair Cristino Naguiat Jr; Vicky Zubiri, Ricky DyBuncio and Willy Ocie – the official opening was marked by a traditional sake-barrel cracking ceremony, before guests enjoyed a glamorous celebratory gala dinner hosted by Mr. Lawrence Ho and Mr. James Packer.
Star-studded entertainment was also on the menu, with a surprise solo performance by international superstar Apl de Ap, best known as a member of the Grammy Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas.
Guests were treated to a special Nobu-inspired dinner menu created by Nobu Hotel Manila’s dedicated team, including the hotel’s executive Chef Zackary Hillberry, Hotel General Manager Marlon Hirsh and Restaurant Manager Casper Khamphouy.
