Hedsor House unveils Bridal Suite and guestrooms

As part of a major investment programme, Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire has unveiled a brand new Bridal Suite and ten guest bedrooms.

The Bridal Suite is one of the largest in Europe, comprising a large bedroom, en-suite bathroom, grand dressing room and private balcony terrace, spanning the entire front of the house.

Every detail of the suite has been meticulously designed to ensure that each occasion is elegant and memorable. Residents of the suite can enjoy sweeping views of the grounds and an exquisite handmade four-poster bed with delicate voile drapery.

Restoration of the original 1920s bathroom revealed onyx lining the walls from floor to ceiling, and a hidden sunken bath, which was transformed into a double shower.

High ceilings, Louis XVI-style chaise longues and sparkling chandeliers strewn throughout the interior of the venue reflect Hedsor’s elegant Georgian decor with a contemporary twist. Surrounding the Grand Hall of the house, the further ten guest bedrooms offer space, style and glamour.

The rooms are light and fresh in style with linen upholstered bedheads, enormous antique mirrors and clean, bright colour schemes. Ensuite bathrooms feature beautifully tiled floors, Burlington basins and luxurious Floris toiletries.

As part of the refurbishment many original features were maintained and restored to their former glory. The original Georgian sash windows in every bedroom offer spectacular panoramic views of the Buckinghamshire countryside. Decorative timber frame mouldings were added to many of the corner bedrooms on the second floor, framing the existing intricate mouldings.

Hedsor offers privacy and exclusivity, hiring out the house and grounds in their entirety for civil wedding ceremonies, blessings and receptions.

For matrimonial extravaganzas, a marquee can be set up for 1500 people. An intimate 60-guest ceremony can be arranged in the Centre Hall or a 140-guest wedding breakfast held in the Ballroom. By employing a blank canvas approach, the Hedsor team prioritise creativity and flexibility – producing unusual and impressive weddings.

The venue has already received accolades such as Tatler’s No.1 Top Venue and Eventia Awards Event Venue of the Year. Mark Ronson also famously held his lavish birthday at the country hotspot. Since launching as a venue, the estate has welcomed over 75,000 guests, hosted over 500 spectacular events including hundreds of exquisite wedding celebrations, and been used as a location for a host of notable film productions.
