Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in the Black Sea Port of Batumi, Georgia.

The 247-room contemporary property, which includes 15 suites, offers guests breathtaking views over the Black Sea, mountains and the neighbouring Dolphinarium. The property boasts a unique range of dining options from Tandila Lobby Café Bar and all day dining restaurant, Pelion, to the striking views from the Nephele Sky Bar.

“We are extremely excited to be opening our first hotel in Batumi, which has long been an important port and commercial centre given its abundance of rich agricultural produce,” says Simon Vincent, executive vice president & president, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton Worldwide. “Over the last five years, stimulated by a combination of renovation, construction and Georgia’s favourable visa policies, Batumi has increasingly developed as an exciting and prospering tourism hub.”

The hotel is ideally situated just 50 metres from the 6 May Park and Batumi Seaside Park Boulevard, and is within walking distance from numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. The hotel also provides a great base to explore nearby tourist attractions, which include the Art Museum of Batumi, Batumi Botanical Garden, Gonio Apsaros Fortress and National Park Mtirala.

Hilton Batumi is also conveniently located close to key transport hubs including Batumi International Airport and a central train station, just 6.8km and 8km away respectively, making the hotel an ideal choice for both leisure and business travellers.

Rob Palleschi, global head, full service brands, Hilton Worldwide says: “Batumi is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia but continues to be recognized as a distinguished tourist center on the Black Sea. Hilton is a growing presence across Eastern Europe and the opening of Hilton Batumi, with its magnificent design and stunning views over the Black Sea, marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio.”

Hilton Batumi is an impressive venue for corporate events or grand banquets. With more than 864 square meters of flexible meeting and event space, including the Rustaveli Ballroom, the hotel can host functions for up to 750 people. For those guests travelling on business, the hotel also provides an exclusive Executive Lounge, along with a 24-hour business center offering a variety of amenities and services to help guests stay connected during their stay.

For those looking to relax and unwind, the hotel is also home to the indulgent eforea spa. Complete with indoor pool, seven treatment rooms, lifestyle fitness centre and unique treatments, eforea spa offers guests personalized, transformative journeys to help invigorate, relax and revitalize and enable them to emerge brighter.
