Hilton Worldwide and Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. The property is Hilton Worldwide’s 12th hotel in Japan, and the sixth in the Kanto region alongside Hilton Tokyo, Conrad Tokyo, Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa, Hilton Tokyo Bay and Hilton Narita.

“Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is a significant addition to our portfolio in Japan and the Kanto region and underscores our deep commitment to serving this market,” says Timothy Soper, vice president of operations for Japan, Korea and Micronesia, Hilton Worldwide.

“The location makes the hotel a great base for both leisure and business travelers visiting Tokyo, and positions us well to capture opportunities from Japan’s rising inbound tourism and the momentum building for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020.”

Strategically located in the waterfront area of Odaiba, the 15-storey property offers excellent access to key business and commercial districts, including Shinagawa, Marunouchi and Ginza. The hotel is directly connected to the Daiba station of the Yurikamome Line and is 16 kilometers away from Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) – only a 20 minute ride on the airport shuttle bus.

“Odaiba is one of Tokyo’s most popular tourist destination and dating spots, famous for its shopping centers, museums and landmarks such as the Fuji TV,” says Rob Palleschi, global head, full service brands, Hilton Worldwide. “The Hilton brand’s legacy in Japan goes back to the opening of our first Hilton hotel in Akasaka, Tokyo in 1963.

“Today, after having operated in this important market for over half a century and with this latest addition, we now have ten Hilton-branded hotels across key locations in Japan including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Okinawa. Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is strategically located to continue delivering modern service hospitality and innovative product offerings synonymous with the Hilton brand to both Japanese guests as well as global travelers visiting Tokyo.”

All 453 guest rooms, which includes 17 suites with private balconies, offer stunning panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and the iconic Rainbow Bridge. The wide-ranging dining options include Sakura, a classic Japanese restaurant, Ocean Dining, which offers great buffets with flavors from around the world and Taronga, offering flame-grilled beef and alfresco dining with a great selection of wine.

In addition, guests can dine at Veranda, the perfect place to take in a scenic Tokyo Bay sunset with an array of delicate pastries at the iconic Hilton dessert buffet. Toh-gu offers Cantonese cuisine with the finest seasonal ingredients and for a drink, guests can visit The Captain’s Bar, a classic bar with an excellent cocktail and whisky selection. Other amenities include a 1,200 square meter ballroom and events space, a 24-hour business center, two wedding chapels, a fitness club, a spa and an indoor pool with spectacular views of the sea and sky.

Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is located at 1-9-1 Daiba, Minato-Ku, Tokyo, Japan. For reservations, please call the hotel directly at +81-3-5500 5500 or visit the hotel’s website at tokyoodaiba.hilton.com.
