Today marks the launch of Innside by Meliá‘s third property in Dusseldorf, Germany. Located in a dynamic area of the city – former industrial harbour and warehouse district, MedienHafen – the hotel seeks to blur the boundaries between business and lifestyle hotels.
Occupying floors five to 14 of colourful 17-storey building, The Colorium, the 134-room Innside Dusseldorf Hafen hotel has been designed by prominent Spanish interior designer, Alvaro Sans. The interior juxtoposes the bold facade – which comprises over 2000 coloured glass panels – with a calm aesthetic, defined by black, white and silver tones and clean lines.
The spacious rooms are well appointed with state-of-the-art technology for business travellers, who will make up 80% of the clientele at the hotel. Furthermore, The View Skylounge, Restaurant and Bar on the 16th floor will offer 360º views across the port and city.
