Kostow Greenwood Architects has shared news of the building of their leadership team with the promotion of several key members of the firm:
· Promoted to Associate Principal are Lena Fan and Marian Prado
· Promoted to Associate Designer is Jungin ‘Jay’ Chang
· Promoted to Associate Architect is Gary Li
In announcing the promotions, Founding Principal Michael Kostow says, “I’m extremely proud of our entire team. In my 35 years of practice, I can truly say that the four talented individuals we are promoting exemplify what I value most – creativity, leadership and kindness – and that I enjoy collaborating with them everyday.”
Similarly, Managing Principal Jane Greenwood says, “Lena, Marian, Jay and Gary are talented individuals and together, a strong leadership team for the firm. With these promotions, Kostow Greenwood continues to nurture and support diversity for the next generation of architects and designers as we have done since our founding in 2002.”
The four individuals bring extensive project and client experience to the table having worked closely with Kostow and Greenwood and having benefited from the culture of mentorship embodied in the firm. They each have considerable tenure with the firm and have expanded their responsibilities with proven successes.
Lena Fan, AIA, joined Kostow Greenwood Architects in 2012. On reflecting on what the promotion to associate principal means for her, Lena remarked, “I look forward to continuing to invest in the growth of our team’s experience and success. Just as I learned from being mentored by Michael and Jane, I plan to nurture the supportive culture of our firm so that we all continue to grow.”
Marian Prado, AIA, joined Kostow Greenwood Architects in 2014. On reflecting on what the promotion to associate principal means for her, Marian remarked, “Our collective contributions to the growth of the firm are noticeable in how we’ve grown individually as professionals and together as a team. I look forward to welcoming new talent to the firm and providing similar growth opportunities.”
Jungin ‘Jay’ Chang joined Kostow Greenwood Architects in 2015. On reflecting on what the promotion to associate designer means for her, Jay remarked, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead the design direction on projects in partnership with our clients. My passion for conceiving of, and realising the experience for an interior space will scale up along with my role.”
Gary Li, AIA, joined Kostow Greenwood Architects in 2017. On reflecting on what the promotion to associate architect means for him, Gary remarked, “This is a new step forward in my career. I want to be more hands-on with projects in a broader sense from conception through to execution, expressing the big picture but responsible for every detail.”
