Magnolia Park enlists help of Beacon’s design service

Prestigious Golf and Country Club, Magnolia Park, has called on Beacon‘s design services to manage the design and purchasing for its new 30-bedroom hotel, which is currently being built on its existing site in Buckinghamshire. Beacon, which helps businesses in the hospitality and leisure sectors improve their profitability, has worked closely with the team to compile a comprehensive product specification and will act as the hotel’s purchasing partner moving forward.

The new facility, which is due to open later this year, will offer guests breath-taking views over the golf course and sweeping Buckinghamshire countryside. By working closely with Magnolia Park to put together a product specification, for everything from carpets to wardrobes, the team at Beacon was able to manage both the hotel’s budget, and the quality of procured items.

By taking advantage of Beacon’s unique offering of creating a bespoke a sample room, Magnolia Park will be able to see exactly how a room will look with the product that has been specified; this offers a great opportunity to make amends at an early stage, ensuring that the correct product is chosen for all 30 en-suite rooms.

Beacon’s remit moving forward will include the purchasing of fixtures, furnishings and fittings for the facility including beds, curtains, lighting and carpets. Its years of industry experience, as well as its extensive supplier list, will ensure Magnolia Park Hotel receives the very best prices for top quality products.

“The service from Beacon has been second to none since we first started working with them in May,” says Alan Pither, owner of Magnolia Park Hotel. “It’s a very exciting time for us at Magnolia Park as we are gearing up to open the facility towards the end of the year. By working closely with the Beacon team, we have been able to benefit from its years of industry experience, as there were an abundance of items required which we didn’t initially think of – that’s what makes Beacon a true partner when it comes to procurement, the team is always thinking about the whole project.”

Chris Johnson, Design Services Manager at Beacon, commented: “We have been able to offer the team at Magnolia Park complete peace of mind when it comes to our services. By working closely with the team we have been able to truly understand the business objectives and handpick products that will give guests the very best experience. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Magnolia Park Hotel, and supporting the group with its design needs during this exciting time for the business.”
