New brand identity for GA Design

Ahead of the business’s 30th anniversary in 2015, GA Design International has announced a refreshed brand identity and logo, moving from GA Design International to become simply ‘G.A Design‘.

The company will retain its focus on award-winning luxury hospitality design, with a global portfolio of projects and clients. The new G.A Design corporate identity was created in-house by the company’s branding division.

In recent years, GA Design has been responsible for Corinthia Hotel London, W in Taipei and the St. Regis in Osaka (which recently won ‘Best Hotel Interior Design’ at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2014).

Referring to the new name and branding roll-out, Terry McGinnity, Managing Director of GA Design commented: “We are well established internationally and have always operated across the globe, a more concise name feels a better reflection of our business – clients know we are ‘international’.

“The fresh, streamlined logo connects with the personality of the company in the clean architectural lines of the ‘G’ and the creative warmth of the ‘A’.  It is also an appropriate way to celebrate 30 years of being in business”

The changes to G.A Design’s corporate identity are part of the larger growth & diversification of the company. A new portal houses the different client services available in the group, from Hospitality Interior and Architectural Design (G.A Design), through to Brand Consultancy (G.A Brand Design), Residential Interior Architectural Design (G.A Residential), property development (G.A Property) and Interior, Architecture and Product Design (ENGAGE)

Commenting on the development of a larger range of services for clients, G.A Group Founder and Chairman Werner Aeberhard said: “We have responded to client requests by setting up the Group structure, with a clear offer for high-end luxury hotel design at the core as it always has been.

The opportunities for combining our traditional expertise with branding or residential briefs, along with the establishment of our Shanghai office this month, means we are uniquely positioned to develop more great work across a larger portion of our clients’ business. We call this ‘creating value by design'”.
