NEWH UK will hold its much-revered Round Table and Annual Fundraiser events on Tuesday 3rd October at the Mondrian Shoreditch.

The NEWH UK Round Table event serves as a dynamic platform for hospitality professionals to converge, share insights, and foster innovation. This year’s Round Table hosts include David Harte from Studio Moren, Jo Littlefair and Martin Goddard from Goddard Littlefair, Joanna Knight from JK Interiors, Clare MacDonald from Design Command, and Ngahuia Damerell from Accor Hotels Luxury Brands. Hosts will switch tables throughout the afternoon, so everyone gets an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas Tickets are available at a reduced price of £65 to members and £80 for non-members; the event starts at 3.30pm prompt.

Kathryn Quinn, President of the NEWH UK Chapter said, “The NEWH UK Round Table Event offers a great way to connect with industry leaders and foster valuable connections. The expert discussions ensure we hear the latest developments in hospitality design, whilst enjoying an afternoon of networking with industry colleagues”.

The Annual Fundraiser takes place later that evening, when three students studying interior design will be presented with their scholarship awards. Judging for this year’s awards took place in June, with the lucky winners kept a tight secret by the judging panel which included Annette Culhane, Senior Associate at ESPA International & Scholarships Director NEWH UK; Richard O’Sullivan UK Account Manager at Florim; Sam Hall, Director Interior Design, Europe at InterContinental Hotels Group; Alys Bryan Editor at Design Insider; Kevin Swart Sales Manager, Europe at Arteriors & Vice President NEWH UK; and Tom Thorogood, Co-Head of Interiors at Studio Moren. Tickets for the Fundraiser are available at a reduced price of £45 to members and £60 for non-members, the awards will be presented at 6.30pm followed by a relaxed evening with finger-food and drinks when we can celebrate with the three lucky winners.

Annette Culhane, Scholarships Director for NEWH UK said, “The student awards are a result of year of fundraising events throughout the year, supported by NEWH UK members and sponsors. I’d like to thank this year’s sponsors, Sanderson Design Group, Lutron, and Cruise Ship Interiors Expo. In my role as Scholarships Director for the NEWH in the UK, I actively encourage students to enter our annual Scholarships Competition. It’s not only an amazing opportunity for students to showcase their skills, but to meet and network with industry professionals leading to possible job opportunities and career development. I’m delighted we can award three scholarships this year as I’m sure it will make a big difference to our winning students”.

NEWH is a non-profit networking organisation for hospitality industry professionals, facilitating connections and sharing knowledge to enhance the growth and development of the sector. Central to this is supporting the next generation of talent entering our industry, making the Annual Fundraiser a key opportunity to show your support.
