As Nobu Hospitality, founded by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, continues its growth and expansion, the brand is announcing the launch of a unique master chain code across four major global distribution systems, strengthening its relationship with the trade on a global scale.

Nobu Hotel Palo Alto, will be transitioning onto the Nobu Hotels Master Chain Code on October 15, 2020, ending its three-year affiliation with Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel has recently relaunched following a multi-million-dollar renovation of all accommodations and public space and has introduced elevated Ryokan Palo Alto rooms on the 7th and 8th floors, rivalling the personalized guest experience of its chic sister property, Nobu Ryokan Malibu.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, owned and developed by L+R Hotels, will officially open on November 9th, 2020, and has also joined the NB chain code. Portman Square marks the third collaboration between L+R Hotels and Nobu Hospitality, following the success of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Nobu Restaurant Monte Carlo. Situated in London’s vibrant Marylebone, moments from the world-renowned shopping districts of Oxford Street and Mayfair’s cosmopolitan restaurants, the hotel will feature a Nobu Restaurant, bar, and outdoor terrace, a 600-person ballroom, meeting space and wellness facilities.

Rachael Palumbo, the group’s VP of Sales and Marketing, said: ‘The shift to a unique chain code has been designed to build brand visibility amongst the travel community, meet the needs of advisors worldwide and further position Nobu Hotels as a distinct luxury lifestyle offering. With Covid-19 continuing to disrupt travel around the world, it’s never been more important to strengthen our ties with the trade and we’re excited about this progression across our portfolio over the coming months.’

Nobu Hospitality has expanded to include 19 hotels announced and operating worldwide, spanning six continents. 2020 saw the opening of Nobu Hotel Chicago and Nobu Hotel Warsaw, with Nobu Hotel London Portman Square set to open in November. Hotels in development include Riyadh, Marrakech, Tel Aviv, Sao Paulo, Toronto, and Atlanta.
