Omnam Group and Marriott International have announced the signing for the development of two Marriott International branded hotels – a Sheraton Hotels and Resorts and a Moxy Hotel in Bagnolet, in the eastern suburbs of Paris.

Scheduled to open in a couple of years, the hotels are owned by Omnam Group and managed by Marriott International, and will cover a total area of 37000 square meters.

The hotels will be part of Les Mercuriales development, comprised of two towers. One tower will house the two Marriott International hotel brands – a Sheraton hotel with 570 guestrooms and a Moxy hotel with 272 guestrooms.

The dual branded property will offer travellers two distinct lifestyle experiences. Sheraton Hotels and Resorts focuses on connecting and creating communities, leaning into services and design that enable socialisation, productivity, and personalisation. Designed for the young and young at heart, Moxy Hotelswill offer a fun, playful and stylish hotel experience.

Through the development, Les Mercuriales will become an easy gathering place for business and leisure travellers as well as locals to meet, play, eat and sleep.

The Sheraton hotel will offer a restaurant, café and a rooftop bar with magnificent views across Paris, whilst the Moxy will offer a lounge bar. Both hotels will share the conference centre with two ballrooms, meeting rooms, break out rooms and an event space with glorious views over the city, as well as the fitness and wellness areas. The plaza connecting the two towerswill include food, beverage and retail offerings.

“We have an excellent and longstanding collaboration with Marriott International,” says David Zisser, Founder and CEO of the Omnam Group. “Together, we are looking forward to bringing energy and buzz into the Bagnolet area.

“What Les Mercuriales, the Sheraton and Moxy brands have in common is that they offer such a well-rounded entertainment programme outside of just guestrooms, leading to an unforgettable experience for travellers and Parisians.”
