Pan Pacific Hotels Group announces five senior appointments for London property

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of five new management positions for Pan Pacific London – the group’s first hotel in Europe opening in Autumn 2020.

Located in London’s new landmark tower, One Bishopsgate Plaza, the property combines a 237-room hotel with 160 private residences, just moments from Liverpool Street Station.

Anne Golden, General Manager

Seasoned hotelier, Anne Golden, joins Pan Pacific London as general manager and will oversee property operatons, business development, brand positioning and revenue management for the property.

With considerable experience working with brands such as Morgans Hotel Group and Mondrian, Anne has successfully managed new hotel openings and pioneered re-brandings. 

Michelle Whittemore, Director of Marketing Communications

Michelle Whittemore joins Pan Pacific London after spending two years as Senior Head of Marketing at the luxurious 283-bedroom Corinthia Hotel London.

“It is my goal to launch and strengthen the awareness of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group in Europe and to increase value to our London property through highly targeted performance-driven marketing activities,” she says.

Whittemore brings 18-years insight across two continents gaining in-depth knowledge of all hotel disciplines. Previous roles include Director of MarComm for hospitality management company Nira Hotels & Resorts and Account Director for global PR agency PRCO, both London based. Kate Ruddick, Director of Sales

Kate Ruddick, Director of Sales

Kate joins from SBE, formally known as Morgans Hotel Group, where she oversaw three hotels in London as Regional Director of Sales, leading a team of 12 at its peak for almost ten years. Additional previous experience includes working for three years at The Lanesborough London.

Kate will use her experience within the luxury travel sector to focus on the luxury lifestyle, local corporate business, MICE and entertainment sectors.

Claire Gilbertson, Director of Revenue

Pan Pacific London has appointed Claire Gilbertson as Director of Revenue to head up the UK team.

Claire, previously Revenue Director at Mandarin Oriental London for two years where she then went on to act as Regional Revenue Director at Morgans Hotel Group until 2019, will oversee revenue generation for Pan Pacific’s first European property.

Jennifer Chu, Finance Director

Jennifer Chu joins Pan Pacific London as Finance Director. Prior to this, for the past five and half years, Jennifer held a Regional Head of Finance role at Dorsett Hospitality UK, responsible for the opening and operating of its two London Hotels and destination bar from a finance perspective.

Jennifer is a Chartered Accountant by CIMA and she also holds qualifications from Cornell University and Leeds University in Hotel Real Estate Investment, Asset Management and Journalism.
