Meliá Hotels International is set to mark a major milestone in its global expansion with the launch of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the brand’s very first resort in Asia. Following an extensive transformation, Meliá Bali—the first Meliá property to open outside of Spain over four decades ago—will be reimagined into a new category of luxury, becoming the Asian flagship for the Destination-Inclusive® brand, Paradisus by Meliá, following the success of its properties in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Spain.
Set within tropical gardens off the stunning coast of Nusa Dua, Paradisus Bali will feature 485 luxurious suites and 7 private villas, each designed to combine contemporary elegance with the serene beauty of Balinese nature. The resort’s reinvention includes the addition of 4 lagoon-style pools, immersive dining concepts, as well as adult and family experiences that redefine the all-inclusive portfolio.
Paradisus continues its signature Destination-Inclusive® concept in Bali—a philosophy rooted in meaningful cultural connection, local immersion, and holistic well-being. Guests will enjoy exclusive experiences both on and off-property, designed to uncover the island’s natural wonders and artistic heritage. The property will also integrate the island’s rich wellness traditions into its offerings, providing guests with a hollistic experience those nurtures both body and spirit. Central to this is the YHI Spa, a newly envisioned sanctuary featuring 12 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy circuit pool, and a relaxation lounge. Daily yoga, and a curated calendar of wellness-focused activities will further enhance guests’ experience.
At the heart of the transformation is The Reserve, a sophisticated adults-only haven featuring exclusive privileges, elevated service, and refined facilities designed for discerning travellers. Meanwhile, the Family Concierge offers thoughtfully designed and personalised experiences for families, with curated amenities that cater to every generation.Tiny travellers can look forward to Kidsdom, Meliá’s signature kids club; while teenagers have YOURWAY, a dynamic hangout designed exclusively for their age group. The resort also features a water park with slides, and modern sport courts for tennis, paddle tennis, futsal, and basketball.
Perfect for culinary enthusiasts, the property boasts eight refined dining destinations, each offering authentic, elevated cuisine inspired by global flavours. The all-day dining restaurant Malva serves a vibrant selection of local and international dishes with garden views, while Peseta pays homage to the brand’s Spanish heritage through traditional recipes, artisanal tapas, and expertly paired Spanish wines. Set along the shoreline, Kanna Beach Restaurant delivers bold South American flavours and fresh local seafood to the beachfront. Samira, the Middle Eastern restaurant, evokes the mystique of Arabian Nights with richly spiced dishes. At Tokimeku, guests can enjoy a wide range of Japanese specialities, from delicate sushi to smoky robatayaki. ARUM celebrates Balinese culture through nightly performances and regional specialties in a uniquely Indonesian setting. For an intimate adults-only dining experience, Sante offers refined plates in an elegant ambiance, while The Shack delivers casual, poolside bites apt for relaxing afternoons under the sun. All venues are included within the resort’s luxury all-inclusive offering, allowing guests to indulge freely in world-class gastronomy throughout their stay.
The transition of Meliá Bali into Paradisus by Meliá Bali began in October 2024 and will continue through late 2025, with the official unveiling planned for December 2025.
