Premier, a design, procurement, capital management, and project management firm, is further investing in its design team by promoting Abby Shehan as Design Director and Leslie Wynne as Design Manager.

Shehan and Wynne, who previously served as Senior Designer and Senior Interior Designer respectively, have been integral to Premier’s rise as a leader in the hospitality industry. The firm’s roster is expansive, having partnered with global brands including Hilton, Hyatt, and Ritz-Carlton, in addition to its growing partnerships in residential and student housing developments.

“We’re proud to promote Abby and Leslie; today’s announcement represents both our commitment to internal growth and producing industry-leading design throughout for several industries,” says Carla Niemann, Premier’s Senior Vice President of Design.

“At a time when hotel managers, multifamily developers, and universities are rethinking how to optimize built environments in the wake of the pandemic, Abby and Leslie’s creativity will help Premier to deliver innovative and cost-effective projects for our clients.”

As Design Director, Shehan will utilise her ingenuity and leadership skills to spearhead various aspects of Premier’s projects including coordinating her team, taking on responsibilities for deadlines, and managing and overseeing the design and profitability of future projects. Prior to working for Premier, Shehan was the Lead Interior Designer at Pulp Design Studios and a Senior Designer for Duncan Miller Ullmann. Her background will help her to successfully lead Premier’s growing number of design projects and allow her to bring clients’ varying creative visions to life by ensuring a smooth transition from phase to phase.

As Design Manager, Wynne will invest her time to train Premier’s Junior Designers and facilitate an administrative role in managing project responsibilities and deadlines. With a love of discovering new materials and cultures, Wynne works to ensure Premier’s projects allow guests to feel the unique energy of their surroundings. Prior to joining Premier, Wynne was an Interior Designer for Jones Baker. She served on the local board for Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH) for nine years and was President of the Dallas chapter in 2017.
