Shiva Hotels has purchased The Kingsway Hall Hotel, a landmark property in central London for £96m.
A further £15m has been committed to fully refurbish and extend the property to make it into a unique London hotel to match its marquee location close to Covent Garden. This includes an exciting destination restaurant and bar, luxury spa and additional deluxe bedrooms.
“We have made no secret of our strategy to build a portfolio of quality hotels in Central London,” says Rishi Sachdev, MD of Shiva Hotels. “Kingsway Hall is a high profile addition and demonstrates we are achieving our goal in a very competitive market. These are exciting times for the Shiva team.”
Shiva has over 2,000 bedrooms in London either operational or under development. These include Millenium Bridge House overlooking the Thames, Vandon House in Buckingham Gate, Morley House on Holborn Viaduct, Hampton by Hilton in Waterloo and Lincoln Plaza at Canary Wharf.
