The Sloane Stanley Estate has announced that French furniture and interior design specialist, Silvera, will be launching their debut UK flagship at 241-245 King’s Road.

Due to open this Winter under Brigitte and Paul Silvera’s leadership, the 5,244 square foot contemporary design showroom will display furniture, lighting, rugs and designer home accessories including cushions, throws, vases, jewellery, books and limited edition pieces. The design of the London store will be carried out by renowned architectural firm Jouin Manku, with Mickaël Gouret leading on the project.

Since its founding in 1990 by Paul and Fabienne Silvera, the brand has grown into a global concept, boasting eleven showrooms in Paris and an online store, SILVERA-eshop. A global leader in the field of design, it is best known for its high-end, contemporary design furniture collections spanning the home and office, as well as it’s team of specialist design consultants.

“With an international appeal and client base Silvera will be a destination for many design conscious shoppers in the capital,” says Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley. “We are thrilled to be welcoming them to the King’s Road; the new showroom will complement the current retail lineup where they will be in close proximity to a host of formidable interior design and lifestyle brands.”

Paul Silvera, owner of Silvera added adds: “Of the various locations we viewed, the King’s Road was by far the best match for Silvera. I am delighted to be moving into such a stylish, affluent and international neighbourhood. We chose London as the location for our first flagship showroom outside of France due to its vibrant, cosmopolitan energy and thanks to the support of our partner, London based investment firm Aérium.

“I am confident that our showroom will be a perfect match for the catchment here and help to grow our expanding global client base.”

The news follows a very successful year for the Sloane Stanley Estate, having been chosen as the exclusive location to launch the Royal Selangor Star Wars Collection, and with a series of brands recently joining the retail line up including: Ella Jade Interiors, Jane Taylor, Danish womenswear brand Noa Noa, leading lifestyle brand Woven and French boulangerie Orée.
