The Gettys Group, an award-winning global hospitality design firm specialising in interior design, consulting, branding and procurement, has announced the appointments of Emmanuel Shamoun and Bonnie Boyer to its expanding team.

Shamoun joins The Gettys Group as Director of the firm’s Consulting group, bringing two decades of experience in architecture, engineering, project management and business development at architectural and development firms throughout the world. Most recently, Shamoun resided in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, leading both architecture and real estate development firms.

“Emmanuel’s expertise in multiple disciplines, including architecture and development, will provide our clients with a comprehensive and individual look at each of their projects,” says Jerry Zeitner, Principal for the Consulting and Procurement groups and Gettys ONE.

“With Emmanuel’s strong background and education in business, we are excited to have him leading our team of seasoned consultants to help our clients achieve success in their projects from feasibility to completion.”

Procurement specialist Bonnie Boyer joins The Gettys Group Procurement team as senior project manager and will be leading the firm’s West Coast operations. Boyer, with more than two decades of hospitality experience directing procurement services for hotels, resorts, gaming and boutique properties nationwide, led procurement projects for such high-profile properties as the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, Calif., The Fairmont Hotel and The W Hotel in San Francisco, and the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

Throughout her tenure, Boyer has worked with many of the hospitality industry’s procurement leaders, heading up their project management teams and, in the process, realizing numerous successfully completed hotel renovations and developments.

“We are incredibly excited to have Bonnie join The Gettys Procurement team as we continue to expand our presence with an enhanced and local focus on the West Coast,” says Jason Bramhall, Senior Director, Procurement. “Bonnie’s hospitality experience and vast knowledge of the regional market allows us to further integrate our process in translating local interior design into experienced reality.”

Both Shamoun and Boyer joined The Gettys Group in November, ending 2015 on an exceptionally high note for the firm.
