This October, award-winning design studio Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. will debut Palomino, a striking new members’ club concept for the VIP Lounge at Decorex 2025. Set within the historic halls of Olympia London, Palomino promises to be a serene, transportive space – one that celebrates performance, craft, and the quiet power of storytelling.
Under the visionary creative direction of founder Tolu Adẹ̀kọ́, the studio has designed an immersive and atmospheric experience, drawing inspiration from Olympia’s storied past as a venue for spectacle and performance. From equestrian shows to circus acts, the venue’s legacy of wonder has directly shaped the spirit of the space.
Rather than a singular open-plan lounge, Palomino unfolds across five distinctive rooms, each one evoking a moment from the theatre of life: the anticipation before a show, the intimacy of a backstage dressing room, the golden haze of a spotlight. Every space is layered with materials, textures and colours that feel luxurious, yet quietly theatrical.
At the heart of Palomino lies Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co.’s commitment to global craftsmanship and thoughtful collaboration. The studio has curated a stellar lineup of world-renowned makers, artisans and brands, each chosen for their heritage, innovation, and excellence in design.
From the UK, the lounge will feature bespoke furniture by Tom Faulkner, sculptural lighting by Martin Huxford Studio, and exquisite craftsmanship from Cox London, Selfish Customs, Larkbury, Six Contract Furniture, and 1718 Furniture Ltd, founded by Michael Mancini in Scotland. The visual storytelling is enriched by a mural installation from Timna Woollard Studios, wrapping the Grand Salon Bar in a layer of enchantment.
French craftsmanship also plays a starring role, with contributions from Philippe Hurel, Véronique De Soultrait (rope marquetry), and the verre églomisé artistry of Ulgador and L’Atelier Blundell & Therrien. Fabric houses including Lelièvre, Misia, Casamance, Nobilis, Pierre Frey, and Samuel & Sons (New York), alongside Dedar and Qubo Contract (Italy), ensure a tactile richness throughout the space.
Wall finishes are elevated by Artmura (Turin) and Studioart Leather Interiors, with refined leatherwork by Edelman. Meanwhile, Indian studio Demuro Das contributes statement pieces rooted in precious stone and metal artistry.
The design is further enhanced by contributions from Porta Romana, Phos Lighting, Christopher Farr, Vaughan, Arteriors, Original BTC, Ambientec, Source Furniture, J. Adams & Co, A Shade Above, Premier Voile, Orac Decor, and Arte. In a final touch of quiet sophistication, Ultimate Library has curated a bespoke collection of books to ground the space in thought and reflection.
Bringing the concept to life, Palomino collaborates with DPA Lighting, whose award-winning expertise will sculpt the ambiance with visionary lighting design. Styling comes courtesy of Armonia Styling, who have choreographed the interplay between materials and makers with precision and flair.
Fine drapery is supplied by family-run curtain makers Danesbridge, whose detailed craftsmanship adds elegance to every fold. Finally, Will Foster Studios brings an extraordinary level of decorative artistry, applying techniques such as trompe l’oeil, grisaille, faux marbling, gilding, and lacquer, to unify the design with nuance and grace.
Palomino marks a milestone for Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co., as the studio celebrates 10 years of emotionally resonant interior design. Known for blending layered references, global narratives, and time-honoured craft, the studio has created a space that is more than a lounge – Palomino is a love letter to performance and the beauty of imagination.
As Decorex 2025 opens its doors this October, Palomino stands ready to welcome guests into its salon of stories, a place for stillness, creativity, and quiet awe.
