As ever, the HIX event in Islington this November, looks set to be electric. Skopos Fabrics, on stand 16, will be showcasing brand new print designs emerging from the Skopos STUDIO library. This new library concept has been developed to provide a comprehensive resource for sourcing new printed design ideas for contract interior solutions. Skopos Studio supports and strengthens our full printed fabric offer, printed by our team in Yorkshire, with designs available on a large choice of flame–retardant base-cloths, for upholstery, drapery, cushions and blinds. New base-cloth qualities have recently been added to the offer with new velvets and textured upholsteries part of the 16 cloths available. Over 50 years of design experience shines through in the Studio library. Each design is awarded equal status, rather than presenting a traditional, co-ordinating collection with a lead or hero design.
The latest design to emerge from the STUDIO includes Arboretum; A fantastical,relaxing, multi-coloured landscape translated onto fabric. Each area of the design explores a different part of the botanical garden, with exotic and more familiar species of flora leading you through the design. Colourways include bright, fresh, lighter designs and more vivid moody scenes, offering contrasting options for all commercial spaces.
Arboretum will be on display this year, alongside a taster selection or our new colouredvoiles Cove & Shellen, due for Launch in the new year and our new textured recycled collection, Taransay.
